Flydubai operates direct flights to new summer destinations

The Dubai-based Flydubai airlines announced the launch of two new seasonal destinations last week. The latest additions to Flydubai’s ‘European Network’ for the 2018 summer period include Dubrovnik, Kutaisi, Georgia, and Croatia.

Flydubai is the first carrier to operate direct flights to Dubrovnik from the UAE. Flights to the Croatian coastal city will operate four times a week from 10th April to 25th October 2018.

Apart from Tbilisi and Batumi, Kutaisi will become Flydubai’s third point in Georgia, and it will be served with three weekly flights between 14th June and 22nd September 2018.

With this, the number of destinations on Flydubai’s European network for next year’s summer to 22 points including 11 points in Bosnia, Russia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Turkey, Slovakia, Turkey, two points in Ukraine and the new route to Croatia.

Speaking on the new destinations, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer, Flydubai, said that it is for the first time this year that the airline has offered its passengers direct flights to popular summer destinations. Depending on the success on these routes, the options for next year will be increased. 

These popular new routes, along with relaunch of flights to other destinations like Batumi, Qabala and Tivat, will complement the existing comprehensive network, and offer passengers more options to explore this summer.

Flights to Batumi, Georgia will resume from 16th June to 30th September next year, with a daily flight, there will be an increase from the thrice weekly service operational last summer. Tivat will resume with three weekly flights from 26th March to 26th October, while Qabala in Azerbaijan will resumer from 14th June to 30th September with four weekly service, which is a marked increase from the previous twice a week service.
