Dubai is all set to unveil world’s largest fountain on 22nd October, which will enable the emirate to make its way into the Guinness book of World Records.
If Dubai is able to achieve this, then it will be home to world’s two largest fountains. The ‘Palm Fountain’ which is currently the largest located in the luxurious Palm Jumeirah hotel’s waterfront attraction.
The fountain will be positioned at the Pointe, a lifestyle and dining destination, spread over 14,000 Sq. Ft. of sea water, while its super shooter will be 105m tall, comprising more than 3000 LED lights.

The CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Ahmed Al Khaja, said the Palm Fountain is another marvellous addition to Dubai’s list of world-famous landmarks and it will be a major draw among residents and visitors alike.
The Palm Fountain will have 20 custom-made shows with five different shows running daily between 7pm and 12am, while swaying to a rang eof popular songs including pop, classic, Khaleeji, international etc. The performance will vary every 30 minutes with each show lasting three minutes.
The Chairman, Beijing Water Design Technology, Xin Su, said “We are proud to be part of the design, build and operation of The Palm Fountain, an extraordinary feat. As one of China’s largest fountain specialists, this project was unique for us as we had the opportunity to tackle many firsts in ingenuity.”
The Senior Marketing Manager-MENA, Shaddy Gaad, Guinness World Records said that the fountain will be a great addition to Dubai’s long list of attractions.
“The GWR is in the process of verifying the largest fountain, and we look forward to hopefully seeing this world-class landmark being declared officially amazing,” Gaad said.
