11 June 2021

Passenger flights between India and the UAE will remain suspended until the 6th of July, Emirates Airline confirmed on its website.

We’re further suspending our flights from India until 6th of July. Our website will be updated soon. If you need help with your booking, DM us your reference number and email address. We’re here to help. Stay Safe,” the airline said on Twitter as response to a passenger.

India - UAE Flights

The flight suspension to the UAE from India began on 24th April, and was further extended on 4th May by NCEMA (National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority) due to the deadly second wave of Covid-19 now affecting India.

Currently, only UAE nationals, UAE Golden Visa holders and members of diplomatic missions are allowed on flights from India. Chartered flights, are however allowed, subject to approval from General Civil Aviation Authority. But, pooling and seat selling on charter jets from India to the UAE are not permitted.
