The 27th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) began on 15th December 2021, with a spectacular opening celebration at Burj Park, with a range of mesmerizing events and promotions, apart from featuring live performances from superstars such as Balqees Fathi and award-winning artist Mohammed Hamaki.
This year’s opening celebration is likely to woo its nationals, residents and visitors with augmented reality stage integrations, dancing fountains, wonderful Burj Khalifa light show and performance artists and much more.

The show will be broadcast live on MBC4, Dubai TV and Wanasah.
The DSF will be a 47-day citywide extravaganza and will run until 30th January 2022. This is the world’s longest running retail festival which marks the start of a host of live shows, dining, shopping and winning experiences for the whole family.
Shows and Performances
From the start of DSF, residents and visitors to Dubai can immerse themselves in live shows and screenings including shows such as Love Actually festive special at Zero Gravity, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at The Theatre in Mall of Emirates, Opera Al Wasl and Joseph Tawadros live at Dubai Opera, Aladdin at the QE2 Theatre, and lot more.
Light Show and Night fireworks
Based on popular demand, the DSF Drone Light Show is back with its second edition, and will return to Bluewaters, The Beach opposite JBR and the newly-opened global attraction, Ain Dubai. It will run daily from 7pm to 9.30pm and will be the longest running Drone Light Show in the region, and this year, it will be complemented by the spectacular ‘lighting show’ on Ain Dubai.
Set to some of the popular and much-loved tunes, the DSF Drone Light Show will depict the story of UAE’s past, present and future, while also including augmented reality elements.
Meanwhile, the night fireworks displays will make a spectacular comeback from 8.30pm on 16th December at Dubai Festival City, Dubai Creek, Dubai Frame, Al Seef and La Mer.

Nationals, visitors and residents in Dubai will be able to enjoy the winter season in the city this Wednesday, bagging the perfect hotel offer. There is also a special Thai festival running at the waterfront setting of Souk Al Marfa from 16th to 18th December featuring cultural and culinary delights.
The mega raffle fun has begun, with DSF lucky winners gaining the opportunity to win big with Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group Raffle, Idealz Raffles, Dubai Shopping Malls Group Raffle and Infiniti and Nissan Mega Raffle Draws.
