UAE chosen India's NEET Exam centre for first time ever

27 July 2021

UAE students wishing to take India’s NEET exam in Dubai have begun applying for slot since 23rd July.

Several hundreds of students and parents heaved a sigh of relief after the UAE was chosen as the centre for Indian Medical College Entrance Exam for the first time.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) is a common entrance exam taken by students who aspire to pursue MBBS or any other medical course in India, and is due to be conducted on 12th September here.

Those who are sending their NEET forms for the first time are given time until 6th August to apply for a slot in Dubai. From 8th to 12th August, the exam centre corrections will be accepted.

The new centres in Dubai and Kuwait City have been announced to help the Indian students who are based in the Gulf countries to appear for the exam.
Although, this comes as a huge relief for parents and students, the worry among students and parents is whether the Dubai centre will be able to accommodate all aspirants. Although a centre in Kuwait City is an option, and although it is close to the UAE, it may still not be an option due to the travel bans.
