Museum of Future unveiled at the Madinat Jumeirah

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai today unveiled the ‘Museum of Future’ at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

Organized by the Dubai Foundation for the ‘Museum of the Future’, which form part of the World Government Summit 2016, the museum focuses on shaping the future of robotics and artificial intelligence and their impact on human life. It also offers a unique interactive experience to visitors by attempting to explore the future of this sector.

Speaking on the eve of the summit, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, mentioned that the UAE aims to offer a platform that opens a window to the future and draws expert decision makers, innovators, entrepreneurs to share insights and knowledge about what is good for humanity.

He further said that the summit has been transformed from an annual event into an international organization that works all through the year and focuses on shaping the future in all sectors. It will also focus on producing knowledge for future governments, launching reports, building partnerships with international firms, offers global development indicators, and will answer questions of the future and aim to build a better future to meet the demands of our societies and achieve happiness and sustainable development.

Shaping the future may not happen by just waiting for it, but by utilizing latest technologies and knowledge tools and by meeting its challenges starting from today. The summit sends clear indication to the world that government should own the necessary tools to enter the future, and attain aspirations of their people and build balanced relations with other nations, he concluded.

The Museum of the Future explores the future of robotics and artificial intelligence sectors as it directly affects the social and economic components of societies, in addition to influencing the healthcare, education and other sectors.
