UAE Petrol prices will remain unchanged for the 11th consecutive month in February although diesel rates have been cut, the UAE Fuel Price Follow-up Committee has announced.

Petrol prices in the UAE have been announced for February 2021 by the UAE Fuel Price Committee. While the prices for Super and Special fuels remain unchanged since April 2020, for diesel drivers you’ll be treated to a price drop next time you fill up.
They are as follows:
Super 98: Dh1.91/l
Special 95:Dh1.80/l
Diesel: Dh2.01/l
The prices include 5% VAT.
The price for diesel has been reduced to Dhs2.01 a litre compared to Dhs2.06 in January.
The UAE’s Ministry of Energy first began setting fuel prices based on average global prices in August 2015. Prior to that, the price of petrol in the UAE was subsidised by the government, which shielded consumers from global fluctuations in the cost of petrol.
