Les Victoires de la Musique, France’s equivalent of the Grammys, nominated Camille Thomas for Newcomer of the Year in 2014 and this February, the rising star in classical music arrives for her first show at Dubai Opera with a programme of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1, 2, 3 and 5.
Camille rise to the top came at an incredible speed, having already worked with the likes of Paavo Jarvi, Mikko Franck and Marc Soustrot.She signed as an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon international, becoming the first cellist signed in 40 Years by the prestigious yellow label.
