Q's Bar and Lounge David Davis Live

You can never go wrong with a bit of funk and Motown classics, and one of the city’s top live music venues is bringing in just the person to get us grooving.

From Tuesday January 22, Chicago-born music star David Davis will be taking up residency at Q’s Lounge & Bar in the luxury hotel, Palazzo Versace Dubai.

Every once in a while an artist emerges who has the ability to move fans emotionally by creating an unforgettable musical experience. Artists of this quality come from undeniable talent, and radical vulnerability. Chicago- born and surrounded by eight siblings, he captured attention by belting out Motown classics, performing in church and always finding his way to a stage. He perfected his piano and performance skills whilst studying in the nationally renowned Belmont University music program.

David has recorded with legendary producers, from RedOne (Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, One Direction) to Aaron Sprinkle (One Republic, Eisley). He has garnered a wide range of awards and reviews, has featured songs on hit TV shows, and has amassed over 600 shows in the last 2.5 years cross-country.

He has played to sold-out clubs and festivals, both as the headliner and as an opening act for the likes of Jon Bellion and John Legend. David’s voice, arrangements, and productions have been featured on chart-topping records, commercials for major brands and networks, as well as across hundreds of stages internationally.

With inspirations from stars of the jazz world such as Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway and India Arie, Davis is now making his mark in Dubai with weekly live performances until Thursday May 2.
You can catch Davis live on stage from Tuesdays to Fridays at 9pm to 10pm, 10.30pm to 11.30pm and midnight until 1am, with a minimum spend of Dhs350 on Thursdays and Fridays.

As for those looking for some tunes on Saturday, Davis will be performing at various times from 8pm until midnight.

Advance reservations are recommended.
For walk-in guests, waiting time of at least 20 minutes per table is requested.
