Expect to Dance back into the 90s with hip-hop icon Ja Rule at Billionaire Mansion this March, with the famous rapper is in Dubai for a bit of early noughties nostalgia.
Taj Hotel’s nightclub will be hosting US star Ja Rule to celebrate its third anniversary at urban music event The List on Sunday March 24. The star will play a catalogue of his top floor-flooding, nostalgia-inducing hits to ring in Billionaire Mansion’s third anniversary. Known for its spangly interiors and lavish celebrations, The Downtown-based nightlife venue is known for its bombastic performances and star-powered concerts.
Since his debut in 1999 with 'Venni Vetti Vecci' and its single Holla Holla, Ja Rule has had several hits that made the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, including 'Between Me and You' with Christina Milian, 'I'm Real (Murder Remix)' and 'Ain't It Funny' with Jennifer Lopez.
The Grammy-nominated number one hit, 'Always on Time' with Ashanti, 'Mesmerize' (also with Ashanti), and 'Wonderful' with R. Kelly and Ashanti.
Ja Rule has earned four Grammy nominations, six top-ten albums, two of which ('Rule 3:36' and 'Pain Is Love' topped the US Billboard 200.
The night will kick off at midnight and will go on until 3am, with the big performance expected at about 1.30am. And it’s completely free to enter, so it's the perfect chance to catch the superstar live.
