​XYoga 2019

XYoga, a two day festival of uninterrupted yoga sessions and activities, is returning to Dubai with a new temporary residence at Kite Beach. Now in its third year, XYoga Dubai will see an extensive list of international and local practitioners lead more than 15,000 yoga-lovers through two full days of classes for all abilities and ages.

XYoga is inviting yogis of all levels and ages to dive into expert-led, quality meditation and spiritual discipline from sunrise to sundown.

On this year’s bill are Laura Sykora, who has a following of more than one million yogis; global yoga warrior Janet Stone; Garth Hewitt, the creator of the Shiva Yoga system; best-selling author and celebrated wellness expert Davidji; and popular Indian yogi and trainer-to-the-stars Deepika Mehta.

Joining the international guests will be UAE experts hosting a series of holistic signature sessions, including Nilaya House, Urban Yoga, Yoga House, Yoga Ashram, Dryp, Lotus Holistic Yoga Center and Voyoga.

New styles that will be introduced this year includes tai chi, acroyoga, partner yoga, Iyengar yoga, hula hoop yoga, Bollywood dance and yogalates. Some of last year’s most popular styles – including therapeutic yoga, art therapy yoga, yin yoga, sri sri yoga, and clinical yoga – will also be part of the programme.

In the lead-up to the main festival events, organizers - XDubai and Dubai Holding hosted warm-up sessions around the city, the first of which took place on December 21, 2018 at the Ripe Market at Police Academy Park. As with previous years, the festival will also carry on the tradition of opening with a complimentary mass yoga session for 2,000 yogis on Friday, February 1 at 8am.
