JBR Open Beach

Often also referred as the Russian Beach, the JBR Open Beach is located adjacent to Jumeirah Beach Resort, and is another one of the free to use beaches in Dubai
The Russian Beach, or the Open Beach or Jumeirah Open Beach is located just after Palm Strip Mall at the lower end of the Beach Road, opposite to the Burj Al Arab. The beach has been so named as this is where Russian and Eastern Europeans always used to hang out. Although it does not have plenty of amenities, there are some showers and toilets dotted about, apart from the small malls on beach road, loads of cafes and refreshments in the vicinity.

The beach also has a jogging track along its stretch, and you get to see strollers, joggers, cyclists and roller-skaters here. This clean outdoor playground also has plenty of amenities including showers, toilets, and changing rooms, all housed in distinctive panelled pods. Children can enjoy a splash zone or an offshore water park, and since it is located next to The Beach at JBR, there is no shortage of food and drink outlets too.
