The General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has introduced the UAE Vision new system, which permits public to seek all kinds of visa and residency related transactions through typing service centres approved by Residency Department.
Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs in Dubai, said that the public will not be required to visit the GDRFA headquarters anymore, or will not have to visit any of its external branches for applying visa or residency related transactions, and for applying for visa, residency, renewal of residency, or cancellation of residency, and other such services, as now all the services will be available at typing service centres.
Maj. Al Marri also said that GDRFA will be introducing a system considered to be one of the best for public to save effort and time.
The Director-General of administrative support at GDRFA, Col. Hussein Ibrahim, said that the new system involves public members being permitted to visit any typing service centers and submit their transactions without having to visit GDRFA building or any of the centres to complete their transactions, as all will be done at the typing centre only.
Col. Hussein pointed out that clients should offer accurate information to the typing centre like valid phone numbers, address and email to maintain good communication with them. He also said that people seeking visit visa and related transactions can get them on their email address, while those applying for residency visa services can get it sent to them through Zajel service.
