Since relocating to Dubai from Canada and opening his practice, The Dental SPA almost 13 years ago, Dr. Amer has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the city’s leading cosmetic Dentists. The Dental SPA is the first of its kind outside North America and focuses on bringing the right combination of comfort, health, wellness and beauty to each and every patient. A visionary within the field of health and wellness, Dr. Amer has expanded his center to include Chiropractic services, Anti-aging, Dermatology, Laser Hair Removal, Laser non-surgical skin and face lifts, Botox and fillers.

Dr. Amer is a Cosmetic and Family Dentist who trained and practiced in North America, for over 12 years before coming to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2000. With the art of Dentistry changing continuously, Dr. Amer believes in keeping up to date by attending research and educational courses worldwide to keep him abreast of the very latest in Dental technology and advances.

A keen academic, Dr. Amer is a founding member of the Laser in Dentistry Club in the UAE (part of the Emirates Medical Association) and he is associated with The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; The American Academy of Laser Dentistry; The American Academy of General Dentistry; The International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry; World Federation for Laser Dentistry and The UAE Medical Association.

Dr. Amer believes in the power of Laser Technology for Dental Care, non-surgical Anti-aging Medicine as well as bone and joint care, he has ensured his practice is one of the first in the Middle East to make tomorrow’s technologies available to today’s patients.

With over 25 years’ experience as a smile make-over expert, Dr. Amer knows the importance of providing not only quality Dentistry, but the importance of helping his patients relax and actually enjoy their Dental experience. To this end, he introduced SPA Dentistry for the first time in Europe and the Middle East to Dubai in 2005, to help anxious patients feel comfortable.

Six years ago, he devised a unique ‘at home’ whitening enhancement system which is kinder to teeth and gums than many readily available over-the-counter whitening kits.
