DSS 2010 to be unveiled on 17th June
The main highlights of this years Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), which begins on 17th June and is expected to last for 52 days until 7th August, has been released by Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE).
With a budget worth Dh.60mn, this year’s DSS includes international shows, musicals, shopping promotions, and other events across Dubai, and prizes to be won throughout malls.
Modhesh World, the region’s biggest indoor edutainment venue is also a major attraction of the DSS.
The Chief Executive Officer of DEPE, Laila Suhail, said that a spectacular combination of attractions have been endeavoured to present a comprehensive holiday package for all visitors and residents in Dubai during DSS.
The efforts are in-line with marketing slogan for the year – “Dubai, your summer destination of surprises,” Suhail said.
Suhail said that DSS, being the leading and longest summer event in the region, hopes to maintain its success track this year too, as during the previous years.
The DSS 2010 opening will focus on retail promotions across 25 select shopping malls, wherein on a purchase of Dh.500, shoppers are entitled to few of the best entertainment destinations in Dubai.
Moreover, every shopper will be rewarded for a purchase, while individual malls have announced cars, cash and shopping vouchers as gifts.
Dubai Shopping Malls Group, one of the major sponsors of DSS 2010, is also organizing a purchase-based raffle, wherein shoppers can win spectacular weekly prizes.
The DSS Signature Events have been chosen, based on visitor feedback and wide research on visitor segments and choices. It is only the best events that have been able to make an entry into the list.
