The Ministry of Health and Residency and Foreign Affairs Department in Dubai has introduced a new service, wherein medical health certificates for residency purpose can be electronically transferred from the clinic to the Residency Department.

This new project links the Residency Department with the Dubai Preventive Medicine Department electronically.

According to Dr. Hanif Hassan, the Minister of Health, this move is the first step by the Ministry in its plan towards future development in various sectors and the achievement of outstanding co-operation with local and federal departments.

The new service was launched at the Al Baraha Hospital yesterday by Humaid Al Qutami, the Health Minister and Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ahmad Al Merri, Director General of Residency and Foreign Affairs Department in Dubai.

This is the second phase of the “Takamul project” with the Health Ministry and Dubai Medical Zone.
