The region's largest theme park destination, namely, Dubai Parks and Resorts, announced their latest season line-up, which features the premiere of ‘Lionsgate Zone’ at MOTIONGATE Dubai, apart from a series of other exciting events at Riverland Dubai.
The Lionsgate Zone at MOTIONGATE Dubai, will shortly be unveiled to the public, featuring world’s first rides and attractions, inspired by the international blockbuster movie series ‘The Hunger Games’.
Visitors can take a hair-raising journey from District 12 to the Capitol on the adrenaline-filled half pipe roller-coaster, the Capitol Bullet Train, and also enjoy a 3D flight that soars over Panem, taking guests along the iconic landmarks of the Capitol, on the Panem Aerial Tour.
Riverland Dubai, which is the themed dining, retail and entertainment district, located in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts, has also announced its line-up of free events this season, including Circus on the River in November and Pets on the River in December, apart from a series of new events for public holidays. There will also be live outdoor entertainment and alfresco dining along the scenic river, wherein family and friends can get together and enjoy all that the destination has to offer.
Effective 1st September 2017, UAE residents can take advantage of the winter season rates of Dh.165 for a day ticket to MOTIONGATE Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND Water Park, and Dh.95 for a day ticket to Bollywood Parks Dubai.
The UAE Resident rate is available online or at the gate for upto 5 tickets, on presenting valid Emirates ID. Non-resident ticket prices too have been announced for the winter season, with day tickets costing Dh.235 per park or Dh.285 for two parks. These prices are effective since 1st September 2017, and offer guests the chance to enjoy more than 100 rides and attractions. Entry for kids below 3 years of age is free.
This season, ‘The Hunger Games’ fans from across the globe can experience rides inspired by popular blockbuster movie franchise, and we wish to include communities across the UAE to celebrate national holidays with free events at Riverland Dubai.
Being the region’s largest theme park destination, MotionGate Dubai is unique theme park, showcasing the most beloved characters from Dreamworks Animation, Columbia Pictures and LionsGate and Bollywood Parks Dubai, a first-of-its-kind theme park that showcases rides and attraction based on bollywood’s popular and biggest blockbusters.
It also hosts Legoland Dubai, a unique interactive theme park for families, which brings the well-known Lego brick to life, apart from Legoland Water Park, the region’s first water park, catering to families with children aged 2 to 12. Riverland Dubai, the unique themed retail and dining district, connects the entire destination.
Six Flags Dubai will be the fourth theme park of the destination, and the region’s first Six Flags theme park, which is due to open in late 2019.
