Exciting events and a line-up of activities for families have been unveiled across Dubai city for residents and tourists to enjoy.
The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishments (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism, released the line-up of exciting events that are to take place across the city, for people to enjoy, as they get together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha.
There will be two concerts happening across the city by two renowned Arab music icons: On 2nd September, Emirati singer, Shamma Hamdan will perform at Dragon Mart 2 at 6.30pm, while later in the week, Mohammed Abdo will take to the stage at Dubai World Trade Centre on 6th September at 9pm to delight fans with a series of hit songs.
The much anticipated fireworks will be held on the first day of Eid at Dubai Festival City at 9pm and 11pm. It will be a spectacular musical firework display, which should not be missed.
Step into La Perle this Eid, to enjoy a live masterpiece from 31st August, produced by legendary Artistic Director, Franco Dragone. It is a breath-taking fusion of immersive artistic performances, imagery and technology. Get ready to be transported into a new era of entertainment.
Mesmerizing firework displays will be held at ‘The Beach’, opposite JBR, daily from 31st August to 3rd September 8.45pm. The venue will also host various performances on daily basis to keep families entertained throughout the Eid holiday.
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is hosting the 7th edition of Dubai Sports World featuring tournaments, sports, academies and activities designed for serious athletes and sporting novices of all age groups. So, all sports-lovers head straight to DWTC this Eid.
Tiny tots get their last opportunity to say goodbye to their favourite character Modhesh at Modhesh World, as he leaves Dubai on 3rd September and return next year. Kids get to enjoy the virtual reality workshops, various performances, amusement activities and enjoy delicious food at the food trucks.
The Dragon Mart 2 has a range of activities lined up for all to enjoy this Eid. There will be 20-minute live interactive musical adventure shows including Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Spike and Applejack. There will also be a ‘Transformers Workshop’ that allow kids to test their skills through various activities and games in an interactive themed area, to be held twice a day.
The little ones can also enjoy themselves in Dubai’s first ever indoor theme park, IMG Worlds of Adventure. There will be parades and live performances, apart from multiple adventure zones with thrilling rides, and various restaurants offering a pleasant dining experience, which would be an ideal day out for the family.
