As per fresh report from Inkifi, Dubai ranks tenth in the world in the number of Airbnb accommodation. As per research, Dubai has 15,948 Airbnb active rentals as of July 2022.
Data from Inkifi report indicates that the city with maximum Airbnb listings is London, with 34,135 listings, followed by Paris with 24,940, New York City (22,586, Istanbul (21,625), Shanghai (20,732), Chengdu (17,818), Rome (17,756), Rio de Janeiro (17,165), Mexico City (16,977) and Dubai (15,948).
The research also revealed that living like a local at one of London’s finest Airbnbs is an excellent place to know the city. Paris is the apt place for breathtaking views of Eiffel Tower, scrumptious French Cuisine, romantic walks along the cobbled streets in the city. New York City is the eighth city with most expensive Airbnb rates.
Further, study shows that since the year 2019, the number of active Airbnb rentals have dipped across the world. The total number of listings for top ten destinations have fallen from 303,535 to 209,682, which indicates 30.92 percent drop.
Pattaya is the city with highest number of Airbnbs, with 79.25 active rentals in the market for every 1000 people living there. Ankara is the cheapest average daily rate for Airbnbs, with travellers paying just £17.13 per night. Las Vegas is one of the most expensive places to stay in an Airbnb property, as the average daily rates here is around £186.33.
