27 new pavilions lined up for Global Village Season 27

The pavilions that are included in this season are UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Africa, America, Afghanistan, Europe, Egypt, China, Iran, India, Japan, Oman, Lebanon, South Korea, Pakistan, Morocco, Syria, Palestine, Turkey, Yemen, Thailand and Russia.

The Al Sana’a and Khalifa Foundation pavilions will be returning too, as local entrepreneurs take advantage of the Global Village platform to grow their businesses allowing guests to be among the first to discover the latest products.

Global Village announced the first preview of fresh experiences and venue enhancements that visitors look forward to in the new season of Global Village which is due to open on 25th October.

On 4th August, Global Village said 27 pavilions have been confirmed to open for Season 27.

In its latest press release, Global Village said “New pavilions from Qatar and Oman for this season will add to the excitement of the unique Global Village shopping experience.”

The new ‘Road of Asia’ concept

A new venture in Season 27 is the Road of Asia concept. As per the release, ‘Road of Asia’ is a new pedestrian street featuring 43 kiosks from 13 Asian countries that are not represented through 27 pavilions.

All of the vibrant outlets will offer guests 100 percent authentic products ranging from Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brunei, Laos, Bhutan, Nepal, Philippines and Myanmar.

Road of Asia will showcase diverse cultures and traditions from some of the most populous continents in the world, that are home to most of the oldest civilizations in the world.

According to COO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, Mohamed Sharaf, the Season 26 saw record footfall, and the entire team is working to build on the season’s accomplishments to ensure they meet the same success in the next season.

Sharaf further said, “Planning and construction are on track for the October 25 opening, and we are all looking forward to an unmissable line-up of new attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences.” Sharaf said more details about season 27 would be revealed in the coming weeks.”
