The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has announced fresh rules for Tadbeer service.
The new rules, which are applicable to the Daily Flexible Package, affects the working hours of domestic workers. The rules also emphasize on regular screening for Covid-19, apart from vaccinations when possible.
Further, the MoHRE tweeted, "Committed to limiting the spread of coronavirus, MOHRE has suspended recruiting domestic workers for a few hours or days. The workers are provided for a period of 7-days minimum for one family and are not allowed to be replaced or transferred during this period."
Tadbeer centres are responsible for conducting a PCR test for the workers before they are sent to the family / employer within a period of 48 hours. The centre is also responsible to help their workers get their vaccination against Coronavirus.
