Global Village to open doors in Dubai next week with new attractions

Global Village will return for its 26th edition on 26th October, with a range of entertainment, culinary and shopping attractions.

Global Village is a one-stop destination, involving cultures of over more than 80 countries across several global pavilions.

The sprawling theme park, spanning 1.6million square metres will see visitors enjoying world’s finest shopping, dining and entertainment experiences, apart from a whole range of shows, events and activities.

At least 26 global pavilions are expected to participate this year, including Afghanistan, Americas, Africa, Egypt, China, Europe, Iraq, Iran, India, Palestine, Pakistan, Thailand, Syria, Turkey, Yemen and the UAE.

New Attractions

This year, there are plenty of activities on the offer that you have never experienced before. These include an iconic Instagram-able structure near the Arabian Square, a corridor connecting Happiness Street with Fireworks Avenue, a coffee shop on a bridge inspired by Budapest’s popular ‘Margaret Bridge’, and an Adventure Zone called Peter Rabbit, comprising activities based on famous animated television series produced by Silvergate Media. Also, a new addition this year is the Iraq Pavilion.

Other attractions include street entertainment, cultural performances, dazzling main stage presentations, street food, stunt shows and a major carnival area with loads of rides.

Tickets: Dh.20 for purchase at the gate. VIP packs have been already sold.

Free Entry: Children below the age of three, people with special needs, and senior citizens are allowed free entry. However, a companion is necessary to assist people with special needs but, they will be allowed free entry too.

Timing: Sunday to Wednesday (4pm to midnight); 
               Thursday to Friday (4pm to 1am)
                Saturdays (2pm to 11pm)

 Note: Mondays (only for families and ladies) but not applicable on public holiday

The 26th edition of Global Village will run for 167 days, ending on 10th April 2022.
