Pure Health, UAE’s official pre-travel Covid-19 testing facility, has launched an online facility for travellers to the UAE, wherein, they can register to get tested for coronavirus in their home countries through an approved network of laboratory facilities.
Together with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC), Pure Health has launched an international laboratory partnership project, with over 500 accredited laboratories in 40 countries at this stage of the project.
All the procedures are being planned in order to contain the spread of the virus.
To book the service, visit the web portal https://screening.purehealth.ae/application , and check for the list of approved lab mentioned therein for each country. Travellers entering the UAE from any of the empanelled countries, can register for screening by providing their details, choosing their city and preferred laboratory on the portal.
Their results will be shared with FAIC through the portal. The applicants will then receive the feedback on their application.
According to Head of Commercial Operations at Pure Health, Pramod, the company is working to include more countries and labs across the world, aiming for a coverage of 60 countries and 1000 laboratories in the short term.
“We advise the UAE residents and visitors to follow sensible guidance to prepare when they are planning their trip to the country and reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19 while this outbreak is ongoing," he added.
The online portal of Pure Health can be used for booking and for paying for the laboratory services, so that the UAE government can remain assured that the passenger has conducted the test from the approved lab.
Passengers are required to carry the Pure Health result certificate for their travel as that is the only certificate which will be accepted by the airlines flying to the UAE. Any certificate that is directly issued to the passenger from the lab will not be accepted.
After the test, if the passenger has not received Pure Health Certificate by email, they should follow up with the lab where they gave the test, so that their result is issued on the Pure Health Portal. The certificate will be sent to passenger after they complete the test, and it will be sent to their registered email on the portal. Passengers who do not go through the portal will not be able to share their test result with the UAE authorities.
Pure Health is the largest laboratory operator in the GCC, and is a key partner of the UAE authorities in its nationwide fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
