Global Village all set to open doors for silver jubilee next month

With Global Village preparing to open its doors for silver jubilee celebrations on 25th October, the multicultural family destination in UAE has recently handed out awards to recognize its Season 24 partners.

Global Village honoured its outstanding partners who operated and managed its outlets. The India pavilion was given the ‘Best Pavilion Award’ for its exceptional guest experience. The Morocco Pavilion won ‘Best Craftsmanship’ award for their showcase of authentic Moroccan artisans.

Iran Pavilion won the ‘Best Façade’ award illustrating the country’s rich cultural heritage, while the Turkey Pavilion won the ‘Best Cultural Show Award’.

Grand Barbeque restaurant has been awarded the ‘Best Restaurant’ for Season 24 on serving the guests of Global Village with its rich Indian cuisine.

Japanese Cheesecake, Avocadolicious, and the Indian Chaat Bazar won the ‘Best Kiosk’, ‘Best SME Kiosk’ and ‘Best New Concept’ awards respectively.

According to Anwahi, Global Village is ready to welcome guests for its silver jubilee season which will begin on 25th October.

“The family destination is setting up for another great season for its guests while maintaining the highest safety standards. Global Village has already been awarded the Dubai Assured Stamp by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for opening,” he noted.

Global Village will host 26 pavilions for the silver jubilee season, bringing together cultures from across the globe. The new pavilions this year include Russia, Cambodia, Africa, Al Sanaa & Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Azerbaijan, Americas, China, Bahrain, Europe, Egypt, India, Japan, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Japan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Pakistan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Syria, South Korea, the UAE, Thailand and Yemen.

Global Village is one of the most visited destinations for entertainment, culture and shopping with 42,000 guests on average per day, with an entry price of Dh.15.
