Dubai RTA extends public transport suspension until 5th April

The Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) has announced the extension of the public transit services in Dubai until 5th April, as part of the National Disinfection Programme, undertaken jointly by the Health Ministry and the Interior Ministry, wherein all the public transport means and facilities are being sterilized.

The extended National Disinfection Programme is operational from 8pm to 6am daily from 29th March until 5th April.

During these hours, all public transport in Dubai would be suspended, but, may remain operational on regular schedules outside these hours, i.e., from 7am to 7pm.

The fully operational timetables would be released on completion of the National Disinfection Programme.

RTA also announced that all marine transport services, including Abras, Ferry and Water Taxi would be suspended until 30th April 2020 as part of precautionary measures.
