Fresh guidelines have been issued to hold wedding receptions in Dubai. The new rules will be effective from 22nd October 2020. Although wedding receptions are permitted, it is important to exercise caution. It is essential to ensure all the precautionary measures are being followed to ensure public health and safety.
Where can the wedding receptions in Dubai be held?
Dubai permits holding wedding receptions only in the following places:
Hotels
Halls
Homes
Tents in residential areas
Temporary venues
The guidelines to be followed:
Ø Depending on the size of venue, there is a maximum limit capacity that is being set.
Ø A maximum of five guests per table is allowed. Every individual attending the reception is required to wear a facemask at all times, except when seated at their tables.
Ø Social distancing between the attendees is mandatory at all times.
Ø The maximum duration of the event is four hours.
Ø The elderly, and those with chronic conditions are advised against attending such social gatherings.
Ø Any individual experiencing a cough or fever should refrain from attending such events.
Ø According to the Supreme Committee, the guidelines related to wedding receptions will be strictly enforced. The violators will be held accountable for any non-compliance of the rules.
