Android Development Bootcamp For Beginners

This Certified 4 day bootcamp is designed to help technology enthusiasts build their first native android app. This is a project based training bootcamp for those with no programming experience, but is meant for those who want to take things to the next level.

Learn the basics of programming and Java, and take the first step on your journey to becoming an Android developer! This bootcamp course is designed for enthusiasts who are new to programming, and want to learn how to build Android apps. You don't need any programming experience to take this course. If you've been using a smartphone to surf the web and chat with friends, then you're our perfect target student!

WHAT WILL BE COVERED?

Day 1: Basics of computer programming, understanding Android, building your very first app (Simple Birthday card) and installing it on your phone for your friends and family to see.

Day 2: Making interactive apps, building user interfaces and logic to trigger events. Then you'll develop a Coffee ordering app to keep track of all the coffee drinks ordered.

Day 3: Object oriented principles, practise with intents and localization, and applying the principles on your previous app. You'll add the ability to add toppings to your coffee, and show a detailed order summary when the customer purchases a coffee.

Day 4: Android Framework and Control Flow, using media resources, lists and ArrayLists then building (Learning arabic) app.

Final Project:

For this project, you will be making your own Android app – taking it from the idea stage to building out the full app, with an opportunity to publish it in the Google Play store. Your goal is to create an educational app that teaches 5 new things to a user on a certain topic of your choice.
