Relax into your weekend with Full Moon Friday yoga at Dubai Internet City on 25 May where you can experience three inspiring sessions which will leave you feeling re-energized and revived for the week ahead.

Originally created on December 21,2010 as a one-day event to celebrate the full moon on winter solstice, a natural phenomenon that only occursonce every 400 years, Yogafest has quickly grownover the years to become one of Middle East’s largest sustainable, community health and wellness events. Yogafest ME was founded by Elaine Kelly, a certified yoga teacher with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry. The event seeks to create healthy communities by offering easily-accessible, free classes in outdoor spaces and by organising-donation based events to raise funds for charities in need.

The event begins with a Hatha Flow session led by Peewee Sanchez, which includes a blend of classical hatha and playful vinyasa movements designed to awaken your body and mind ahead of Iftar. Following this, Jo Arganaz takes to the mat with 50 minutes dedicated to Yin Yoga.The event ends with a liberating Himalayan Kriya Yoga energy clearing and dynamic meditation experience with Pewee Sanchez and Sylvia Christensen from Kevala Foundation.

Free entry however there is a minimum donation of AED 50. 100% of donations go to Al Jalila Foundation and their Ta'alouf programme to support parents of children with special needs.

Parking is free or take the metro to stop Nakheel.

Bring your mat and a water bottle. They have mats for hire AED 25, if you forget.
