Catch Steven Berkoff's double-bill Dog / Actor performed by @3dumbtheatre on 5-6 April at The Junction.
The first play, 'Dog', focuses on a day in the life of a racist 1980s English football hooligan and his beloved pitbull terrier, Roy, who changes his life.
The second, 'Actor', is a spoken word monologue which delves into the heart of the acting industry, humorously and poignantly portraying the trying life of a struggling artist.
Performed back-to-back within an hour by the same one actor, Steven Berkoff’s 'Dog/Actor' promises a thrilling theatrical experience. This is a Threedumb Theatre production which won a five-star review for it a couple of months ago in London; both plays were directed and performed by Stephen Smith, an “inimitable talent” as that review put it.
There are shows at 6.30pm and 8.30pm (it lasts an hour or so) with two more on 6 April.
