A record number of entries is expected this time as well, as participants attempt to pit their skills using a traditional weapon Al Saktoun. Al Saktoun Rife is a traditional weapon renowned for its accuracy and used in the past by tribesmen for fishing, hunting and for protection.
Participants of the Championship will be given the opportunity to train and prepare for the event at the venue and will be provided with all necessary equipment and amenities to facilitate the training, with the provision of trainers and specialists to help them get ready for the expected strong competition.
