Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2020

One of the most popular races in the Middle Eastern region, the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon attracts runners from across continents. The 21st edition of Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon will be held on Friday 24 January, 2020.

First held in the year 2000, it has held its position as the world’s richest running event in history for offering one million dollars to anyone who can make a world record on the route (a prize unclaimed though closely contended for). The winners for both men and women categories in the 42.195km race will be awarded US$100,000 each. The perfect race to hit personal best timing, runners can expect excellent weather in the range of 15 to 20 degrees centigrade and a flat course.

Most of all, it's an excellent opportunity to take along the family to enjoy the glitzy sounds and sights of this Emirate. Spectators can cheer the runners on and enjoy the festive ambiance filled with healthy snacks and sports accessories from all the top brands.

Food and Beverage facilities will also be available at the Marathon Village. Live bands and a selection of other activities will be available at the Marathon Village throughout the day to entertain the participants and spectators.
