Desert Road Runners Cross Country race will be taking place around the Rashid School for Boys on Friday, 8 November.
Participants will run two challenging laps on natural terrain during a 5km race with a 2.5km option for juniors. This event is open to runners of all levels, from novice to advanced.
The Desert Road Runners (DRR) is an UAE running group operated and licensed by Hopatec Sports Services. It is a running group that welcomes runners of any age or ability. Athletes meet several days per week on different track location in Dubai and Abu Dhabi They offer the long- & short- Interval, track, and long slow distance sessions.
Existing club members can register for free for the Desert Road Runners Cross Country race, while non-members must pay running fees starting from AED75.
Members who are unable to compete can contribute their time and support the event by registering as a volunteering marshal, time-keeper, or manning the registration desk and hydration stations.
