Join for the Second Desert Night Run at the Al Marmoom Desert Reserve on 14th November.
Al Marmoom Desert Reserve, the country's first unfenced conservation territory, is organizing an evening run for participants to enjoy the exquisite landscape and environment with options for a 2.5km, 5km or 10km path. There is no time as spectacular to go for a run in the desert as when the sun has descended over the horizon, leaving behind the silhouettes of the dunes.
Enjoy a 2.5km, 5km or 10km in the magnificent nature along the lakes and forests of this exceptional reserve. Spanning more than 40 hectares of shrub land, the reserve is home to more than 204 species of native birds, 158 species of migratory birds, and 10km of lakes, encompassing the Al Qudra Lakes.
See it in different light with the Al Mamoom Desert Night Run!
Participants ages 6 and up are allowed to register, and with over 250 expected runners, book now to grab your spot. Throughout the challenge there will be a medical team standing by in case of emergencies and plenty of water on hand to to keep contestants well hydrated.
AND REMEMBER, THIS IS A RUN, NOT A RACE!
