PINK LADIES GAMES

The second edition of the Pink Ladies Games will take place on 27 October 2017, which is also pink month for Breast Cancer all over the world. The event is held as a part of Dubai Fitness Challenge at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. The Pink Ladies Games is a half day feel-good programme with quality time together with your friends and colleagues.

This Game isn’t the usual run-of-the-mill sports event. In fact, participating women have to face a myriad of unique sporting challenges that will put their body, brain and intuition to the test. Teams, comprised of three to five participants, are required to compete against one another.

Pink Ladies Games consists of an active morning programme, which leaves you plenty of time with your family for the rest of the day.

Every challenge (called the 'Battle') lasts for 15 minutes. NO SPORTS SKILLS NEEDED!

As soon as you arrive, your team is registered and given a breakfast snack. The professional fitness instructor available there will warm up your muscles.

Their crew will brief you on the scores and rules and off you go!

• 7am - 7.30am: Registration & Snack

• 8am - 8.15am: Opening Ceremony
• 8.15am - 9.30am: Battles 1 - 3
• 9.45am - 10am: Battles 4 & 5
• 10am - 11am: Cool Down & Breakfast
• 11am - 11.15am: Awards Ceremony
• 11.15am - 11.30am: Close

Although the Games’ mission is to inculcate and prioritize the importance of active lifestyles, a portion of the registration fee will be injected straight into the Pink Caravan in an attempt to raise breast cancer awareness and funding for the cause. The price per team is only AED 825, of which AED 160 goes to the charity project Pink Caravan. There will also be a great Awards Ceremony where cancer survivors are celebrated together with the winners. They also offer spa services, as well as a free breast cancer check-up.

Pink Caravan aims to raise awareness around breast cancer early detection and screening methods, lobby for the creation of the first UAE National Cancer Registry, and raise sufficient funds to purchase and operate a state of the art mobile mammography unit. The initiative has garnered extensive recognition locally, regionally, and internationally, and therefore, has appointed ambassadors from different walks of life to promote and advocate its mission.

Don't expect ordinary sport activities! On the contrary: get ready for a unique blend of challenges with a female touch.
