Following its revamp Downtown Toko looks cool and funky with its urban interiors and cute Japanese flourishes, such as the paper fans that move mechanically above the bar – there more for style than to actually cool you down. The venue gets busy most nights, but there’s a less frenetic unlicensed terrace overlooking the Burj Khalifa, so if it’s views sans beverages you’re after, this might be the best spot.
