Ed Sheeran comes to Dubai for Mathematics concert tour

Renowned pop singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has just unveiled exciting news for his fans in Dubai and beyond, as he gears up to embark on his ‘Mathematics’ concert tour in 2024. The artist announced his eagerly awaited return to the stage during a recent announcement.

In his statement, Ed Sheeran expressed his enthusiasm for hitting the road once again and performing in some of the world’s most beloved countries and cities. Among the fortunate destinations to be included on his tour is Dubai, which has sparked great anticipation among his fans in the region.

While the official date and venue for the Dubai concert are still under wraps, fans need not wait too long for further details. According to information posted on Ed Sheeran’s official website, more information regarding the Dubai concert is set to be unveiled on November 6, 2023.

Sheeran’s website revealed tour dates starting in 2024, taking in cities including Bahrain, Osaka, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.

And listen up because, according to the tour line-up, Dubai is one of the destinations set to play host to the 32-year-old. For now, the Shape of You hitmaker’s Dubai date is yet to be announced.

A Dubai concert date for Sheeran would mark his first trip to the region since 2017, where he played at the city’s Autism Rocks Arena. Sheeran is currently on tour in the US until the end of October.

Famed for his hits Shape of You, Bad Habits, Perfect and I Don’t Care, Sheeran’s library of songs continues to grow. He released not one, but two albums in 2023. One of which (Autumn Variations) was released on his own record label Gingerbread Man Records.

His latest tour name, – = ÷ x Mathematics, is an amalgamation of his album names. At the gigs, you can expect to hear tracks from his new releases along with some of his all-time classics.

Sheeran is famed for his down-to-earth, regular-bloke appearances. On hiatus from his US tour earlier this month, Ipswich Town F.C. supporter Sheeran made an appearance at the club’s Championship game against Hull City, where he pulled pints for supporters in the concourse and, after their 3-0 win, sang Perfect with them in the changing room.
