The Fridge Concert Series is back with the launch of Season 31 from 20th January. Starting the session with fantastic new melodies is Dubai based Armenian-born jazz pianist and composer Samvel Gasparyan. Season 31 of The Fridge Concert series will feature numerous artists and take place every Monday from 20 January-10 February.
Gasparyan has lived in the UAE since 2012, the same year that he was a prize winner at the Montreux International Jazz Competition, having also picked up an award at the Nottingham International Jazz Competition in 2011.
An accomplished performer, Gasparyan has won awards, worked on 11 studio albums and toured 40 countries. He released his EP, Morning in Yerevan, under the Universal Music Group MENA label last year.
