Omar Kamal at Dubai Opera

Palestinian-born singer Omar Kamal is bringing together a moving repertoire of his hits for one evening at Dubai Opera.

He may be regarded as the Palestinian Frank Sinatra but Omar Kamal is shining in his own light with his brand of balladry, inspired by classical Arabic music and the pizazz of ol' Blue Eyes himself. He recently released his second album Show Me The Light, which chronicles his discovery of music.

The young singer has carved himself a niche space in the Arab music industry, marrying soulful jazz with Arab melodies for a sound that transcends time and space.

Expect to be transported back to the 1920s during the Jazz Age with a dynamic set full of songs by legendary crooners such as Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Abdel Halim Hafez as well as vintage jazz standards. Tickets begin from Dh195.
