Primary and secondary students from across the UAE, with a passion for music took part in the Young Musician of the Year competition last month. They were informed to upload a music video that should be no longer than 3:20 minutes.
The videos were judged by a specially selected panel that includes professional saxophonist, Adam Long, session violinist Anna Pym and Head of Music at the Canadian University of Dubai, Rivaan Mager. The music videos were also opened up to public voting...
The 10 finalists will perform live on stage in front of the judging panel, friends, family and representatives from local schools in a bid to be crowned this year's Young Musician of the Year. The young artists will have the unique opportunity of being mentored by award winning singer-songwriter legend Abbo Abbondandolo.
Also performing will be the Rising Stars, and a very special finale from the Canadian Univeristy of Dubai EnSENble and the Dubai Chamber Orchestra.
It is sure to be a wonderful afternoon of music so come and support these hugely talented young students.
