The powerful duo, Kamal Musallam & Mercedes Lujan, is set to perform in Dubai Opera studio on 13 December.

Kaman Musallam is renowned for his idiosyncratic fusion of Arabic sounds and rhythms with jazz. The guitarist and oud player released eight albums since he moved to the UAE in 2002, including two official Grammy Award Selections.
And Mercedes Lujan, a top-rated contemporary flamenco guitarist. She has accompanied several luminary flamenco singers and artists, including Rocio Marquez, Sorderita, Luis Aguile and Chano Lobato.
With eight successful albums that include two official Grammy Award selections and collaborations with artists like Sting and Billy Cobham, Musallam has made a name for himself in the jazz fusion space.
Lujain’s flamenco melodies paired with Musallam’s maqams on the oud will present a unique blend of genres and cultures that are sure to impress. Tickets are on sale now for AED190 per person.
