Syrian musician Iyad al-Rimawi is set to perform a concert under the title "Letters of Love from Damascus" in Dubai this March. He will perform at the acoustically advanced studio of Dubai Opera in March, sharing touching, self-composed score including Alnadam, Godfather, Alharamlek and Masafit Aman.

Accompanied by the East Orchestra, "Letters of Love from Damascus" includes international musicians from more than 25 countries, and is supervised by musician Mohamed Hammami.

Rimawi has made a name for himself as one of the Arab world's most talented composers in the modern era. He uses heart-rending themes to concoct poignant songs like the ones in his debut solo album Tales From Damascus.

In the year 2016, the album "Sakun in Syria" won the first place in Virgin Megastore's Middle East sales for three consecutive months in an unprecedented situation in the Arab music scene.

The Dubai concert will be an earnest display of melody, passion and heritage through modern interpretations of classical Arabic music, and pay special homage to the diverse social fabric of Dubai.
