Tiga at Soho Garden

Code DXB is one of Dubai’s newest music venues and it is Located in Meydan’s Soho Garden. Its opening month has seen a packed calendar and house with high-energy artists performing at the indoor venue.

Arriving to raise the bar is Montreal-based DJ and producer Tiga on Friday, 26 July.
Tiga is one of dance music’s most recognizable names thanks to over two decades of chart-topping productions, sell-out tours and high profile festival slots.

Tiga’s musical style spans a range of genres, from house and hip hop to UK garage. He has long been the king of irreverent cool, his ‘Sunglasses at Night’ style of electro-pop irony meshing effortlessly with an authentic house and techno mentality, and it’s a combo that’s taken him far.

He is also behind popular tracks ‘Pleasure From The Bass’ and ‘You Gonna Want Me’ featuring his own unmistakable quirky vocals, and situating him prominently in the ensuing electro-house explosion. He made a deft pivot into the techno underground, that was encapsulated in his 2013 smash with Audion, ‘Let’s Go Dancing’, arguably one of the biggest anthems of the past five years. He is currently the host of BBC Radio 6’s music show 'My Name Is Tiga', which broadcasts exclusively unreleased music and classic dance tunes.
