Ogie Alcasid, Piolo Pascual and Morissette Amon - three of the top names of the Filipino music and entertainment industry - are joining forces for one night in Dubai. From pop classics to soulful ballads, audiences will enjoy a concert of their all-time favourite tracks that have captured multiple generations.
Dubbed OPM Overload, the show stands for the ‘Original Pinoy Music’. it also stands for the initials of the three artists who will be headlining the event — Ogie Alcasid, Piolo Pascual and Morissette Amon.
Ogie Alcasid is a singer-songwriter, television presenter, actor and comedian. He has been in the music industry for more than three decades and delivered hit love songs such as ‘Nandito Ako’, ‘Kung Mawawala Ka’, ‘Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang’ and ‘Sa Kanya’.
Piolo Pascual is a multi-award-winning actor, model and singer and is considered a heavyweight in the Philippines' celebrity universe. He has had three major albums – including his debut, Piolo – which went Platinum after their release. The actor-singer scored hits with songs such as ‘Kung Ako Ba Siya’, ‘Muntik Nang Maabot Ang Langit’ and ‘Kailangan Kita’.
Amon, known as Asia’s Phoenix, had a sold-out concert in Dubai last year. Her popular songs include ‘Akin Ka Nalang’, ‘Panaginip’ and ‘Diamante’.
