​Music in the Studio Presents Jaume Torrent

One of the most popular Catalan guitarists, Jaume Torrent, is the second name in Dubai Opera’s Music in the Studio series. Curated by renowned pianist Amira Fouad, this season of the incredibly successful show sequences is back with a brand new collection of world-class artists and multi-instrumentalists.

Lovers of classical guitar will enjoy a captivating programme of Spanish Guitar including music by Fernando Sor, Isaac Albeniz and more including the UAE premiere of Torrent’s own composition.

Jaume Torrent is known for his prolific recordings as well as his own compositions. He has recorded the complete guitar compositions of Heitor Villa-Lobos. He has travelled much of the world with his trusted companion, the classical guitar, performing for audiences in Vienna, Beirut, Barcelona, Amman and beyond.

Music in the Studio continues to create unique musical experiences with an incredible line-up of international artists from January to June 2019. Music in the Studio is set in Dubai Opera’s acoustically flawless studio, allowing for a more atmospheric and unmissable experience between the musicians and their audiences.
