Ramadan Nights Iftar by Dish

When it comes to Iftar meals served up in Dubai’s finest restaurants, there are so many options to choose from, yet it often seems that you get so many of the same dishes everywhere you go. However, Ramadan Nights by Dish is a contemporary, pop-up iftar experience like no other in the city.

Now in its third year, this popular pop-up Iftar is creatively set up in a converted Al Quoz warehouse, enjoy laid-back garden vibes with Moroccan lounge furniture, candle-lit tables and delicious food from the open kitchen.

Diners can ease into their Iftar meal with a selection of light starters including roasted garlic hummus, grilled flat bread with burnt eggplant and spiced carrot, lentil and saffron soup. Standout signature main courses including corn-fed chicken koftas, slow braised lamb shoulder in Middle Eastern spices and cured sea bass served with a freekha tabbouleh add that distinctive ‘Dish’ edge to the meal. There is also a wonderful array of accompaniments such as coriander labneh, roast pumpkin and mixed greens with a mustard and coriander seed dressing to leave the diner satiated.

A vegetarian menu has been introduced that features dishes such as grilled broccolini with toasted almonds, charred eggplant with tahini yogurt, Zucchini blossom with saffron and preserved lemon risotto, pomegranate, mint etc. Since Ramadan Nights is a great option for families, this year Dish has also added a meal option for younger diners, jasmine rice with chicken tenders followed by chocolate and vanilla gelato with sprinkles.

In keeping with local tradition, the sweet ending to the meal is a shared one, as the table is invited to join together to enjoy a ‘sundae’ of pistachio sponge, raspberry sorbet, fresh berries, mascarpone rose, pistachio praline and luqaimat.

The Iftar banquet will be held daily in Warehouse Four, Al Quoz, Dubai, conveniently located just off Sheikh Zayed Road (Exit # 43) and will have the seating capacity of 160.
Private and VIP tables are also available for those who prefer a more intimate setting.
Corporate clients can reserve the whole venue for their clients and guests. The price is AED195 per person inclusive of freshly made signature cold beverages and coffee.
