Market OTB 2018

Dubai Shopping Festival 2018 is playing host to Market outside the Box (OTB), which is where numerous vendors from across the region come together to sell a variety of goods and services from fashion, food, entertainment and fitness.

This is the fifth year that OTB has been at the festival and it is even bigger than last year as the unique concept proved to be popular with shoppers. It starts at the Burj Park on January 11th and ends on the 20th January and was the brainchild of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) to support and showcase new businesses and give visitors a fresh, varied shopping experience. The shopping spectacle will be open from 4-10pm on weekdays and from 10am-10pm at the weekends and will also feature family friendly entertainment such as music, shows, dance, poetry and drama and have a variety of Food Trucks as well as tasty food from independent cafés and restaurants.

The al fresco market features a mix of independent local labels and global brands. Visitors can spend hours browsing through the stalls of more than eighty vendors, which sell everything from elegant clothes to colorful mementos. There’s also a packed programme of entertainment on offer, with live music, drama, dance and poetry performances.

Those looking for a more relaxing day out can catch the latest creative documentaries in the pop-up cinema, take a break in the chill-out zone, or just sit back and soak up the unhindered views of the iconic Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain. If you work up an appetite, you can choose from a wide selection of food trucks and stalls, where you can grab a quick and tasty bite. The market is open from 11-20 January, and it’s completely free of charge, so there’s no reason not to head down.

They will also feature a packed program of activities ranging from onstage performances in Live Bands, Solo Performances, DJ's and even classes of Yoga and well being.

There is a full programme for kids too (even bedtime stories). Come and chill out.
