Wire and Cable Arabia is the international trade fair for the wire and cable sector, and it will be held in concurrence with Middle East's flagship industrial trade fairs including Metal Middle East, Tube Arabia and Arabian Essen Welding and Cutting.
Wire and cable is the fundamental element and skeleton of every developed and developing economy that covers the lengths and breadths of the country. It will serve as a powerful platform to build strong business partnerships and forge strategic alliances between cables and wires producers from across the globe and in-country distributors.
Cables and wires form the crucial infrastructure pillar of any economy, and the critical elements that wire-up the length and breadth of the country, as telecom and power networks.
Fuelled by growing telecom infrastructure spending in the developing countries, the global wire and cable industry will be worth USD249 billion by 2018. Power infrastructure, which is another major driver of growth will also see similar trends, with developing economies continuing to expand power infrastructure, while developed economies replace aging power infrastructure.
The infrastructure needs for rapidly expanding industrial and residential projects in the GCC shows that there is high demand for wire and cable products, which are some of the highest and fastest-growing in the world.
