Dubai Safari Park has reminded the emirate's residents and visitors that its current season is coming to an end in a few days. You still have a month to go and see it though as the popular safari park will be closing its doors on Wednesday, May 31.

We currently do not have the reopening dates for Dubai Safari Park’s next season, but we can assure you that it will be back with a roar.

Dubai Safari Park is home to about 3,000 animals. At the park, you will find tigers, gibbons and moon bears, lions, elephants, giraffes, camels, Arabian onyx, Arabian wolves and mountain gazelles and much more. While they are free to roam around during the cooler season, when mercury levels rise, the park closes its doors to protect the health of the animals (and visitors).

One can get a day pass for Dh50 and children aged three to 12 can enter for Dh20. Those younger than three can enter free. A host of other experiences are available at the site, including safari journeys that come with train services.

With temperatures now hitting summer highs, the park will be closing on May 31. It will be opening its gates again for another season once winter rolls in later this year.

Other attractions closing during the summer include Global Village, Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Garden Glow.

While Global Village closed for the season last month, visitors still have the chance to visit Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Garden Glow for a few more weeks.
