What could be better than sitting on a bean bag on the beach, watching a blockbuster movie under the stars against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and city skyline?
Welcome to 'Cinema on the Sand'.
Zero Gravity has announced two special movie screenings on its shores this month, with a special showing of Top Gun coming on Sunday December 9 out on the sand. So if you fancy reliving that Maverick and Goose bromance, get your Ray-Bans on and head over for the movie to start at 8pm. Tickets will cost you Dhs50, but you’ll get Dhs50 towards food and drink so it’s basically free… sort of.
It's also showing classic Christmas Movie Home Alone on Sunday December 23, the movie that made Macaulay Culkin a household name around the world as the wise-cracking, trap-setting burglar hunting super kid.
The Cinema on the Sand will take over the beach area of the Dubai Marina spot, with guests able to pull up a beanbag on the sand to catch films al fresco, with the Dubai Marina skyline serving as a picturesque backdrop.
Zero Gravity has put together a special cinema-style menu for the occasion as well as service from a fully licensed bar. You can get your hands on some chilli cheese fries, chicken wings, nachos, shawarma, burgers, hot dogs, popcorn and so much more.
Grab a bean bag, a cold one and some cinema snacks for the first in a season of Sunday night movies which screens at 8pm.
