​Jashan E Dosti Independence Day Concert

Award-winning Indian singer Alka Yagnik and Pakistani composer Sahir Ali Bagga will share the stage in Jashan E Dosti (Celebration of Friendship) event held at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai, on August 9 to celebrate Pakistan and India’s Independence days.

Tensions may always be there between the two volatile neighbors, but quiz the Indian and Pakistani expat communities in Dubai and you will know that the patriotic spirit is just as strongly intact as the bond of friendship between the two brethrens. India marks its independence on 15 August, with Pakistan marking its independence day on 14 August. The Oud Metha venue is playing host to an unforgettable evening of top stars, including playback singer Alka Yagnik and Pakistani singer, music director and Lollywood composer Sahir Ali Bagga. Also joining the stellar line-up at this evening of friendly celebrations are mirth-makers Ali Hassan and Irfan Malik, and singers Kaajal Vashisht, Maham J Pasha and Sohail Mirza.

Sahir ali bagga a famous singer and musician from Pakistan, he compassed lot of hit songs in Pakistani movies and with other solo singers like rahat fateh ali khan , Shafqat Amanat Ali, Azra Jahan and Sanam Marvi. Sahir ali bagga performed a baazi song with Aima baig last year and this song became a block buster hit song of the season. Bagga is coming to AL Nasr Leasurland Dubai for live performance for jashan e dosti event to celebrate Independence day of Pakistan and India.

Meanwhile, Alka Yagnik is one of the leading singers of Bollywood and has made an indelible mark for herself. She has bagged seven Filmfare awards till date. She is one of the most sought after playback singers in recent times and has contributed immensely to the music industry.
